The XP8421-CUPS is a high-performance HGU (Home Gateway Unit) tailored for various FTTH deployment solutions. As a carrier-grade terminal, it enables stable access to data and video services.
Powered by mature, reliable and cost-efficient GPON technology, this device works as GPON ONU, EPON ONU and XPON ONU. It supports automatic mode switching between GPON and EPON when connecting to respective OLTs, and boasts excellent compatibility with mainstream third-party OLT brands including VSOL, CDATA, BDCOM and HSGQ.
Compliant with ITU-T G.984.x and IEEE 802.3ah standards, it features outstanding reliability, simple operation & maintenance, flexible configuration and superior QoS performance. Equipped with a built-in 18650 lithium battery and dedicated microprocessor controller, the device is further protected by overload and short-circuit protection circuits, ensuring long-term stable operation in diverse network environments.
