Introduction to the Cloud Classroom Project of Guangzhou Foreign Language School

The cloud classroom project of Guangzhou Foreign Language School is committed to upgrading the traditional offline teaching mode, building a unified, efficient, stable and secure campus cloud teaching network. This project focuses on breaking the limitations of traditional classroom teaching, realizing resource sharing, remote interactive teaching, real-time course broadcasting and centralized educational resource management. To support massive cloud teaching data transmission and multi-terminal concurrent access, the project adopts our enterprise-class core switch as the central network backbone device, providing solid and reliable network guarantee for the overall operation of the school’s cloud classroom system
As the core backbone of the entire campus network, our self-developed core switch plays a decisive role in the cloud classroom solution. Different from ordinary access switches, this enterprise core switch features large switching capacity, low forwarding latency, strong concurrent processing capability and complete network security mechanisms. It supports comprehensive Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols, flexible VLAN division and intelligent traffic scheduling, which can effectively isolate teaching network, office network and student living network, avoiding network congestion and data conflict caused by multi-service convergence, and ensuring independent and stable operation of cloud teaching services.
In daily cloud teaching scenarios, the campus needs to carry multi-scenario services including high-definition video teaching, online live courses, remote interactive teaching, educational resource cloud storage and student terminal online learning. Massive real-time video streams and file data put forward extremely high requirements on network bandwidth and stability. Our core switch delivers ultra-large bandwidth throughput and efficient packet forwarding performance, which supports uninterrupted transmission of high-definition teaching videos, eliminates frame loss, stuttering and network delay problems during online classes, and ensures smooth real-time interaction between teachers and students in remote cloud classrooms.
In addition to excellent transmission performance, the core switch has outstanding scalability and operability. It supports centralized cloud management and batch device configuration, enabling school administrators to uniformly monitor network operating status, remotely manage campus network devices, and quickly locate and solve network faults. This greatly reduces the daily operation and maintenance difficulty and labor costs of campus network management.
